Fragile Portraits - Workshop - Union Chapel Bronze Project, Hackney, London 2004
The project consisted of eight homeless artists with sculptor Peter Bevan working together to produce a collaborative piece of work in bronze, which aims to celebrate the Congregational Church’s commitment to homeless people by contributing a significant new artwork to the interior of the Union Chapel Building. The programme developed over eight weeks as the group made self portraits and portraits of each other, in photography, drawing, life casting, in plaster and modelling in clay.
